The Path of the Sea returns: swimming in the blue between Vernazza and Monterosso

Swimming in the intense blue of the sea of ??the Marine Protected Area of ??the Cinque Terre from today is even safer thanks to the 600 meters of lane dedicated to bathers of the " Path of the Sea ", the restored swimming route between Vernazza and Monterosso. Even in the summer of 2019 children and adults can swim safely in the the sea of ??the Cinque Terre thanks to the Path of the Sea, a delimited bathing path marked by numbered buoys to calculate the distances to be covered and a clearly visible peak, forbidden to navigation strong>, which winds along the coast between Vernazza and Monterosso.

Ideal for treating yourself on a kayak but also for practicing snorkeling and admiring the rich and varied seabed of the Marine Protected Area of ??the Cinque Terre. You can start from the Marina of Vernazza , near the cliff called "Punta Mava", where a bulletin board informs about the route and the rules of behavior to keep during the journey. The natatory path continues up to the cliff called "e Ciappae". Halfway through, a more visible buoy than the others signals the presence on the seabed of the underwater Madonnina collected in prayer, which you can admire with the masks.
