The famous Crib of Manarola!

November 18, 2015   admin
Also this year, the beautiful Christmas Crib of Manarola will be present among the Christmas protagonists of one of the villages in Cinque Terre. During the sunset on December 8th, as tradition, thousands of lamps that form the religious scene will light up and, with their reflexes shed over the sea, will give shape to many figures that form this incredible representation of Jesus’ birth. Each figure was conceived at 1:1 scale: the shepherds, the Magi, the ox, the donkey and the sacred Family. Images that can be admired from Litoranea, the panoramic road that connects La Spezia to Cinque Terre, from via Belvedere in the town centre or the square of the Manarola church. The train that transits among the Christmas Crib figures is lit up to make the event more exciting. Obviously, we advise to arrive in the village before the sunset.
