Lemons Festival in Monterosso!

The Lemon festival will take place on Saturday 23rd May in Monterosso. Excursions, visits, markets and a great occasion for the first dip of the season. Lemons, lemons everywhere in Monterosso. Stands will be set up in its streets, dedicated to the town’s typical fruit and to its by-products: “limoncino” (lemon liqueur), lemon cream, lemon marmalade and lemon cake. The event will take place on Saturday 23rd May, a day dedicated to this citrus fruit, which spontaneously grows in the Cinque Terre. The program includes a lemon – scented stroll along the village streets, departing from the house of Italian poet Eugenio Montale. The Monterosso beaches are just at a stone’s throw, so you can be tempted to take the very first dip of the season.
