The path number 1 of the Cinque Terre: Colle di Gritta-Levanto


sentiero colle di gritta levanto le cinque terreThis sixth and final stretch is 10 km long, with a height difference of 220 m, which reaches the maximum altitude of 460 m. to the Rossini mountain. The average journey time is 3 hours. The walk resumes in the pine forest , we reach the Rossini mountain and we continue, going down the Sella dei Bagari, a crossing point with several paths. At this point the route follows the ridge of Mount Focone towards Punta Mesco. Cross the path that goes from Monterosso and head towards Levanto. Continuing meet Casa Lovara and Casa Meridiana . You walk almost flat, until you meet the Mesco asphalt road. Following a descent for a short distance until you resume the stepped path. We pass near the house that hosted Guglielmo Marconi during his experiments on radio transmissions. In short you reach the castle where, with a ladder, you get to the promenade.
