Fish fry in Camogli!

The traditional Fish festival is back: on Sunday 10th May, Camogli will welcome this event dedicated to food and sea, starting on the beach.

The celebrations will start in Camogli on Friday 8th May, when the food stands will be set up in the famous, romantic promenade. On Saturday 9th, do not miss the procession, which will move across the town alleys to get to the marina and the impressive basilica. The fascinating, traditional Saint Fortunatus bonfires will be lit in the heart of the night and will be followed by the fireworks display, which will catch everybody’s attention until nearly midnight. On Sunday, the organizers will start frying oily fish at 10 am and will go on until the evening. Bogues, horse – mackerels, large sardines and anchovies, blacktails and other small fishes will be fried in the record – breaking pan.
