It is said 2012 to be the end of the world…but for sure this won’t be true for Vernazza. Vernazza has already had its Doomsday, it happened on Oct. 25th 2011, earlier than Maya’s prediction. On contrary 2012 …

Hello,
you are interested in visiting the beautiful Via d’ell Amore in Italy? Great place to see but don’t forget to visit the towns and cities around. There’s a lot to see and to explore. Great paths to go and quiet beaches to relax on.
If you’re interested in seeing more pictures don’t hesitate and have also a look at my blog: trekkingcinqueterre.blogspot.com
Have a good time in Italy!
Hello
Good morning,
I am a fan of hiking regularly attending the province of La Spezia with its beautiful landscapes. I often go by you where to grips (I and my friends) in a variety of hiking trails. Reluctantly, however, I have repeatedly pointed out the lack, in many places, of adequate signage and routine maintenance. In particular, some 'time ago routes, to the village of Campiglia, the famous footpath number 1 connected to Portovenere to Levanto. On that occasion I was able to ascertain the status of a bad track so important and popular: inadequate signage both vertical and horizontal (particularly in places Saddle Derby is easy to get lost and end up with Thanks) Mediterranean and blocking the transit and danger makes the transition.
On the contrary last weekend we ventured in the circumnavigation of Palmaria where we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent condition of the trails and signs from a complete and original, but effective. I got a little 'informed to understand why such a discrepancy; the rest we are always under the common / Park of Portovenere. I discovered that the maintenance of the paths of Palmaria has been entrusted to Mangiatrekking, a voluntary association of the Val di Vara, whereas in fact the path 1 CAI is the responsibility of the Section of La Spezia. What about, local volunteers do their work much better of a national association, responsible for the preservation of the trails (that probably also receives public subsidies). It should give pause to those who rely on the government signs and trail maintenance.

@ ANNA:
I can somehow understand that she does not like this habit, But from now considering it a “slaughter” I think there is much difference…There are things far more serious in this area, I assure you…things less harmless and much less romantic.
If the authorities deem to prohibit this practice would find nothing to complain, in some cities has been done, but as a commentator on the video I can only take note of what is reality, course, leaving freedom to the users of the site to express their comments as you did.
But it is possible that no one has anything to opine for the destruction of this beautiful part of Italy? E’ is scandalous that allowed all the idiots who pass to leave their lock imbecillissimo. Really scandaloso.E the comment of the video does nothing but take note, but with so much tenderness….I think. It seems impossible that anyone who loves this wonderful path does not document this stupid habit if not strictly censoring.
The service is nice. Features describing the sin not the only restaurant on the way of where last year I had lunch and enjoy an exceptional, also, a wonderful view.
